The Budget
Paul wants to create a balanced budget and as he says “spend only what comes in,” he also wants to cut federal spending in areas that are better managed by state and local governments
Civil Liberties
Rand Paul’s views on civil liberties are rather simple; he believes that America was founded on principles designed to expand personal liberties and wants to continue and protect that expansion.
Common Core
Rand Paul wants to get rid of Common Core allow different areas to educate students with their own formats, instead of the federal government’s format for all schools around the country.
Criminal Justice Reform
Paul wants to end the cycle of incarceration for non-violent offenders. He has also been working on The REDEEM Act, which would create a judicial process for adults to seal non-violent criminal records on the federal level.
