Senator Marco Rubio (R-Florida) won the Republican Puerto Rico primary on Sunday.
With 25 percent of the vote counted, Rubio had 73 percent, with Donald Trump in second with 13 percent. Rubio had already earned the support of three super-delegates and is expected to win the other 20 as well.
Delegates are awarded proportionally among candidates who receive more than 20 percent of the vote.
While those living in Puerto Rico can’t vote in the general election in November, Republicans ca choose a candidate in the primary.
Democrats in Puerto Rico will caucus to chose a candidate on June 5.
